The Cosmos system has several features that make this security alarm system unique, amongst these being:

• When conventional alarm panels report an alarm they contact the control room, report and then disconnect.

Cosmos does not do this – Cosmos contacts the control room and remains in contact, establishing a ´session´, allowing the intruder to be tracked

• Cosmos alarm panels have 4 audio channels, allowing the operator in the control room to ´listen-in´ to the sounds at the remote site, allowing accurate verification of alarms as well as providing valuable information to reaction forces
• The ability to select the most effective medium to communicate alarms and events to the control room, selecting between WAN, PSTN and/or GSM mediums

The Cosmos system is scalable, being easily expanded from 16 to 176 inputs in steps of 16 inputs, ensuring cost effectiveness.

The Cosmos system has many peripheral subsystems that are seamlessly integrated into Cosmos, some of these being:

• Telephone line monitors
• Sirens and Strobes
• After hours lighting control
• Control of CCTV systems, providing large saving on CCTV maintenance costs
• Control of Striker pepper gas and smoke reactive systems

The latest innovation to the Cosmos system is a feature called NuWay.

NuWay allows for the complete alarm system to be controlled without having to enter PIN codes or having to read and interpret any displays. Simple iButton control makes the operation of the whole security system simple, ensuring proper use and minimal false and unwanted alarms
